Firestar

2 oz of Firestar nylon. I really have no idea what to do with this; I bought it because it was sparkly.

Undyed BFL

Undyed Blue-Faced Leicester, which I may either dye or ply together with something colorful. 6 oz.

Yak

1.75 oz of yak. I love this cream, and I've never seen the color replicated in sheepswool.

Four of these came with my wheel. 39 oz.

Big Pink

A gigantic bump of slubby wool, hand-dyed in pinks and lavenders. The colors remind me of the sunset reflected in the windows of Big Pink in Portland. 16.7 oz.

Undyed Pygora

Purchased at Madrona after three days of oohing and ahhing. This is the softest thing I've ever felt. 2 oz.

Labels: ,

Undyed Tussah Silk

By Crown Mountain Farms, purchased at Madrona. I wanted something plain to learn on, since I've never spun silk, and I didn't want to be so paranoid about ruining a gorgeous hand-dyed hank that I wouldn't have any fun spinning it. I'll probably dye the final product. 2 oz.

Labels: ,

Rose

4.2 oz of New Zealand wool. I want to 2-ply this with a very dark charcoal; I haven't found the perfect color yet.

Labels:

Blue Lagoon

6.5 oz of New Zealand wool.

Labels:

Undyed Corriedale

8 oz. of Crown Mountain Farms Corriedale. I'm doing this as a 3-ply, and I'll dye it once I'm done plying. One bobbin spun up so far, and the rest are waiting until I get a jumbo flyer unit for plying larger quantities.

Cumulus

Some white mystery fiber that came with my wheel; this stuff is fluffy and unbearably soft. I may try dyeing the yarn after I've spun it up. 4.2 oz.

Labels: , ,

Brown BFL

Blue-Faced Leicester, 3 oz.

Seattle Garden

DELORTED!
See Seattle Garden all spun up here.

1.2 oz of Merino in a pinkish heathered colorway, Snapdragon, and .5 oz of the grey mystery wool I learned on. I want to do these as a 3 ply with two strands of merino, one of the grey.
