Small, and not red, but still candy-like

By the way, you can now leave comments. Look at the shiny new buttons down at the bottom of the posts. Whee!

Free DVDs are expensive

So, I was thinking that, just once in my life, I'd really like to be known as the Mistress of Pain. Unfortunately, given my basic personality, I'm far more likely to be known as the Mistress of Fluffy Bunnies and Lollipops. Which just goes to show that, no matter what the picture books and Mr. Rogers tried to convince you of, you don't get absolutely everything you want all the time.
I went to Barnes and Noble on Wednesday for the final day of their buy-two-get-one-free dvd sale. I was planning to be good; thinking that there were a few things I'd been wanting to pick up, but I'd see what the prices were like. And then the boxed sets caught my eye... Did I mention that Wednesday was payday? The third season of Angel, Neverwhere, and Pirates of the Caribbean later (not to mention a cd that caught my eye, and hell, as long as I'm here, I probably ought to sign up for that 10% off card) I wandered back to work.
I have roughly 24 hours of viewing pleasure awaiting me, and it will probably keep awaiting me until the weather turns, because it's far too nice out to stay inside and watch movies.
